The 16th European Meeting on Fire Retardant Polymeric Materials will be hosted by the University of Bolton and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for scientists from both academia and industry (researchers, students and company professionals from all over the world) to exchange up-to-date ideas on current research and new applications of biobased and/or biodegradable polymer materials.

The Europe-centred innovation platform for the fibre industry and the downstream manufacturing stages is to serve as a generator of ideas and the basis for networking. This is borne out by the growing number of both participants and the countries they represent. More than 700 participants from over thirty countries make use of the congress to learn more about the most recent innovations in the global fibre industry
Some 100 Papers by top-ranking international experts representative of academic research and industry make the congress a unique event.

The 6th edition of the Smart Textiles Salon (STS2017) will be organised on the last day of the International Conference on Intelligent Textiles and Mass Customisation – ITMC2017 which will take place from 16 to 18 October 2017. STS2017 is also the final event of the SmartPro project.

Ege University, Engineering Faculty, Department of Textile Engineering is honored to announce that XIVth International Izmir Textile & Apparel Symposium (IITAS 2017) and IIIth International Congress on Healthcare and Medical Textiles (EGEMEDITEX 2017) will be held in İzmir between October 25-28, 2017.
IITAS and EGEMEDITEX will bring together international specialists from textile industry, research institutes and universities where recent innovations and sector-specific issues are discussed together with the exchange of information.
